    Description

    1940 Royal Aristocrat Portable Typewriter with rare "Royal Executive" typeface, custom finish and refinished case. All functions work very well and it is very clean. It has a new drawband, new rubber feet and a nice platen salvaged from a parts machine. The shell was sanded and primed and painted with a two grey and black and red trim. The spacebar is mahogany wood. The ratty fabric was stripped off the case and the wood sides and bottom and pasteboard top were treated with an epoxy sealer and then finished with several coat of clear acrylic. The case has new feet also. The latch works and holds securely, but there is no key. The machine latches securely in the case and it has new felt lining on the interior base.
