    Description

This 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet, printed on both sides, is an ad for Pann Products of Ferndale, Michigan and their Paint-a-Number sets. Dan Robbins, a commercial artist, created paint-by-number sets  for the Palmer Paint Company of Detroit in 1950. He did not invent the concept but was the first successful proponent. The paint-by-number part of the company became known as Craft Master. Pann Products was soon started to sell cheaper, simpler "Paint-A-Number kits. Pann was sold in 1956, and the name was dropped, This brochure is lightly toned with a scribble in blue ink at the center right on one side.
