    Description

    You are bidding on an ANTIQUE roll sign from an R1 through R9 class New York Subway car.
    There were 1702 cars in this series. It took almost 10 years and three different contractors to complete the jobs - The American Car and Foundry, Pullman Standard, and The Pressed Steel Car Company.
    The destinations on this sign are:
    HUDSON TERMINAL
    HOUSTON - 2ND AVE
    The section measures approximately 23.5" wide x 12 inches long. It is made of black vellum with white letters.
