    You are bidding on one MINT edition of the 1972 New York City Subway Map. This map has never been unfolded.
    This the 2nd version of the map.  It has the "KK" route.
    You can distinguish this edition as an original because of the "KK" route in a blue circle on the cover.  A later"1972(2)," or second edition of the same map, was issued with a single "K" train route in a blue circle because the route had been changed.
    You can see how crisp it is in photo 1 & 2.
    This map was designed by Massimo Vignelli in 1970s minimalist style.
    This map is so highly desired because there is one on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
    It was most recently copied by the National Football League in their promotional map during Super Bowl XLVIII.
    The cover is white with various letter & number routes in color circles.
    • 21 inches by 17.5 inches when open.
    • Closes to 7 inches by 3.75 inches.
    • One side has a route map of the subway system & the other side has an enlarged map of Manhattan.
