Up for sale is the beautiful 1963 Royal Futura 800 typewriter (Serial # 2A5013812). This machine was the successor to the very popular Royal Quiet Deluxe. The machine comes with the original case. A very beautiful machine!
This machine has been thoroughly chemically cleaned, tested, oiled, comes with a brand-new ribbon and all rubber has been treated. (PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE SENDING QUESTIONS).

For all the typewriters I sell, the following is done to the typewriter prior to the sale:
1.
Inspect the machine (Platen, paint, feet, broken or missing parts)
2.
Remove all panels (body of the machine) and rubber (Platen & feed rollers)
3.
Blow out the machine with air
4.
Clean all internal parts of the machine including:
a.
Segment
b.
Type slugs
c.
Linkages
d.
Vibrator
e.
Margins
f.
Tabs
g.
All chrome
h.
Keys and keytops
i.
Platen
j.
Feed rollers
5.
Clean and polish all body panels
6.
Install brand new ribbon & test
7.
Test motion & on feet adjustment of typeface
8.
Reassemble all body panels and test again
9.
Clean case and prepare machine for shipping

Once the machine is purchased I pack the machine in the following manner:
1.
Shrink wrap the machine and place it in its case.
2.
Wrap two layers of bubble wrap around the case in different directions
3.
Layer the bottom of the shipping box with bubble wrap
4.
Place the machine in the box and layer bubble wrap around it and on top of it and secure with packing tape
