Gotha-Pfeffer Borzoi statue

Description

This is a Gotha-Pfeffer statue from the German region of Thuringia. It is a hard paste porcelain and is from the early 20th century. It is about 7" tall to the top of the standing dog's head. The base is 7.75" long and 5.5" wide. The standing dog does extend beyond the base. It has a firing flaw, shown. This statue is a pairing of two single pieces, and when they did the last firing, the two separated at one spot. There is no other cracks, chips, or crazing that I can see or feel. These older statues are getting harder to find. I accept payment through eBay. I mail when payment has cleared by bank. I mail USA only and reserve the right to not sell to people with a pattern of negative feedback.
