What a great Alaska postcard! This one belongs in "The Iditarod Museum". Is there one?
Basil Clemons, the photographer, has identified this postcard as "Breaking Trail, Iditarod, Alaska 1911"
It was mailed at Iditarod on Aug. 7, 1911, and carries the valuable Iditarod postmark. It was sent to Mr. W. M. Cookson, Asst. Superintendent of Salaries, P. O. Dept, Cordova, Alaska.
The sender has written "A stretch of mine road with your friend Eric on the box."
