Imperial Glass CANDLEWICK Epergne Miniature Peg Vase Horn Insert (#400/40V)

Description

Offered is a miniature vase in the Candlewick pattern made by the Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire, Ohio.
It has a beaded top and peg bottom, and fits any Imperial Candlewick flower candleholder to make a small epergne.
This item #400/40V with the beaded top was manufactured during the years 1951-1956.
It measures 4 ¾” tall and includes an original rubber insert to hold it snug in the candleholder.
A hard-to-find piece of vintage Imperial glass for your collection!
No chips, cracks, or scratches.   Upon close inspection there is a defect in the glass near the bottom of the vase.  It is an inverted "U"-shaped line, about 1/4" in length.  It appears to be a defect that occurred during the manufacturing process.  It is difficult to see and even harder to photograph, but I believe if you enlarge the last photo you'll be able to see it.
