This is a vintage 4 row, 4 reed (LMMM) ditaonic button box accordion (Steirische Harmonika) made in Cleveland, Ohio by John Mikus in 1944. It is in the keys of F,Bb,Eb,Ab and is in very good physical/cosmetic and performing/functional condition inside and out. It has been well taken care of and maintained. Shows minimal signs of wear or use. It has a classic drier, Cleveland-style tuning that is sharp and crisp.Has a stepped keyboard with German fingering including standing keys (gleichtons) in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rows, but can easily be changed to Czech/Bohemian or Hohner style fingering (without the standing/gleichtons) if you prefer, at no additional cost. Key action nice and responsive. Comes with padded leather shoulder and straps with Alpine flower trim that are adjustable, a palm air button, and original carrying case.
