I recently got in a shipment from Puebla
with a group of traditional dresses....
. They
were
made in
San Mateo Tlacoxcalco
Puebla Mexico,
u
sing the "Pepenado" embroidery technique.
This type of embroidery
is an ancient art that has been produced for over 500 years. Today there are only 20 women from Tlacoxcalco who still embroider in this manner.
It measures;
16 inches across the shoulders and 23 inches from arm pit to arm pit (total 46 inches around) and 41 inches Long.
It will fit a Medium to Large Size woman.
This Dress is a wonderful example of
contemporary fashion trends
such as; South Western, Frida Kahlo, Hippie, Santa Fe, Peasant, Boho Chic, Cow Girl Style!

with a mild soap.... line dry!!!
