NYC SUBWAY ROLL BOX
This is a complete NYC MTA subway sign roll with box.
I have not tried to rotate it, but all the gears are free and complete. I expect it will work.
The displayed sign says "DD 6th AVE LOCAL". "D EXPRESS" is also visible.
There are some small tears in the visible portion of the sign. The rest of the roll has been more protected and looks intact.
The box is labelled "No. 3 Route"
As far as I can tell, the DD train, was a special service provided in 1962 due to a water main break.
