This is a nice vintage metal dog single bookend. The item is old and it looks to depict a Borzoi Russian Wolfhound dog to me (see photos and identify the breed of dog). The item is made of a white metal Spelter with a painted finish (see photos). The item came from a nice estate (see photos). The item looks to be American in origin to me (see photos). The item is marked illegibly by the maker on the back side (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The item in total measures about 4 and 1/4th inches high, 3 inches from the front edge to the back side and it is about 6 and 1/2 inches wide. The item has several coats of paint with some chips to the paint and paint / finish losses and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This item would be a nice addition to your collection.
