    Description

    This is an increasingly unusual vintage heavy porcelain box.   On the lid are two Borzoi dogs:  a Mom and a puppy.   You will smile every time you look at them snuggling together!!!   The figurine was found in an estate sale.  On the bottom is a "MADE IN JAPAN" mark in red.  I was told that this box dates back to about 1958.
    Measurements are approximately:  2.5" x 3.5" .    There is a layer of dust (I never touch a vintage item)...and also one small narrow surface chip on the box bottom top edge trending toward the bottom.   I hope that this lovely box goes to someone who loves a Borzoi as much as I do!!!
