OLD WEST STYLE CORSET AND BLOOMERS COSTUME
CORSET:
Custom made in the 1990s.
Adjustable to fit various sizes.
Made with a connected interior panel to extend sizing or for modesty.
The panel folds in if not needed or wanted.
I am unsure of the material, possibly of a polyester or satin blend exterior, and a cotton blend interior.
***All measurements are approximate***
Measurements with corset drawn to a complete closing without using panel:
41 inches circumference across the top.
33 ½ inches circumference across the middle, approximately at ribs and just below.
43 inches across the bottom at upper stomach area.
16 inches length at front closure
12 inches length at sides
14 inches length at back
Stays in the corset are curved outward at the sides.
Very slight fray at front buttons due to metal rubbing.
Corset is laced to draw at the middle.
Worn once.
Pictures show the corset drawn to a complete close, and with extension panel under the back lacing.
There is a second panel of a very slightly different material connected to the panel of matching material.
This second panel is to be extended inside the corset before lacing and keeps the extension panel from slipping when worn.
2 BLACK DRAWSTRING BLOOMERS
Both of unknown material, but I would guess lightweight cotton or a cotton blend.
Cuffed bloomers: Drawstring. 44 inch
circumference waist at widest.
37 inch Length from waist to bottom of cuff.
30 inch circumference at thigh area.
Bloomers with lace:
Drawstring. 57 inch circumference waist at widest.
35 inch length to bottom of lace cuff.
30 inch circumference at thigh area.
Both of these bloomers were designed to end below the knee or mid-calf area.
