    Description
    Here for auction is an extremely rare New York City Subway 4 sided Block Sign. I am unable to read one of the destinations but can make out Georgia Ave, Subway and Bridge Only. This came from an amazing collection sold at an estate auction. Not certain what is original but the hardware and wood are definitely period. I am dating it from the late 1800's to early 1900's based upon the hardware and the fact that this is made out of wood. If you are looking at this you know just how rare this is. The paint looks as some may have been touched or redone but I do not know that for certain. If anyone has any knowledge about this I would love to know more as I do not collect and know very little about this great looking collectable. I do no there there cannot be too many of these left in the world.
