    Description

    I just
    received
    in a
    new shipment from the Mayan Weavers of Chiapas
    .  This lovely Striped huipil is done in a striking color combination of
    Black and Gold with the brocade work in Peach and Multi-Color spots.
    Please note that the density of the weaving is
    tight to very loose,
    (
    see detail photo #6).
    This is a short tunic / dress and will hit just above the knee.  It was all
    hand woven on a back strap loom
    by
    Tzotzil Mayan women of San Andrés Larrainzar.
    This medium weight cotton measures 23 1/2 inches across (total 47 inches around) and 35 inches Long, and will fit a Medium to Large size woman.
    The Front and Back are identical, and it is a great
    example of contemporary fashion
    trends like; Frida Kahlo, Hippie, Boho, Peasant, Cowgirl, Santa Fed Style!
