Victorian era long black,poly satin and lace skirt.
Skirt has a partial elastic waist which measures 22" -32". The package states that it will fit up to a 14/16, but not true. If really stretched it can go to a 34" waist, but that would surely put stress on the waist band, and most likely cause it to rip. Hips are max 30", and there is no stretch to this material.
All that said, this is a lovely skirt for a smaller woman. It's longer in the back, so a bustle can be worn. It has a black lace drape trimmed with ivory lace and ribbon, that is attached at 2 points on the waist, and drapes behind, and below the butt.
Care instructions are listed on the package. They suggest hand wash cold, but I think it could be machine washed on gentle. My suggestion would be to iron while wet, with a med temp iron. Too hot of an iron will melt this fabric.
This would be lovely paired with an ivory colored high neck blouse.
