Vintage 30's Metal Child's Sewing Thimble signed FOR A GOOD GIRL

Thimble embossed with FOR A GOOD GIRL on both sides.
This was from my grandmothers sewing collection, so no doubt this was my mom's who was born in 1932.
Condition: VINTAGE, it needs to be polished, if that is possible. There is a tiny, TINY hole but a small needle would not fit into the hole. (no clue how it could have come about)
