From a long-retired and scrapped
BMT AB Standard trailer series
New York
subway car,
built by the Pressed Steel Company in 1924.
This number board was likely installed on the subway car in the 1950s,
as the original stenciled car numbers were fading from age and weather wear.
Made of Enamel on Metal.
Measures 21 1/2" x 10".
Condition as shown in photos.
