Description
This is a vintage piano accordion made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin probably in the 1930s or 40s, but actual age is unknown. Apparently repaired, tuned, or sold by Karpek Accordion Company at one point. It is currently being sold for parts or repair, as it needs work in order to be in completely functional condition. But, it has 41 treble keys with a 4-reed LMMM configuration and 120 bass buttons with 5-reed configuration. The treble keyboard is 18.5 inches from key to key and features a nice light cream colored exterior with rhinestone and glitter-flake adornments. The back panel is missing, but it does have a register switch going from LMMM to MMM. The Reeds are present and seem to be of a good quality, but they will require some new leathers and tuning, waxing, etc. as the entire instrument needs a complete overhaul. Bellows seem ok, but could use a new gasket. It would be best suited for either a repair project, or for the shelf of a collector. It's a classic instrument, but does require restoration in order to be in fully performing condition. Free shipping.
